What We Fund
We Invest In
The Song Foundation funds Black, Brown, and immigrant-led and serving organizations in Southeast Michigan. Our priority communities are Flint, Detroit, Dearborn, Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor.

Diverse and Emergent Leadership
We support efforts that prepare, support, and build pipelines for children, youth, and young adult leaders to shape local politics and communities.

Inclusive Technology and Entrepreneurship
We support digital equity efforts that help grassroots organizations bridge the digital divide and make the local tech ecosystem more accessible, diverse, inclusive, and equitable.

Transformative Social Justice and Activism
We support civic engagement, grassroots organizing, and culture and movement-building efforts that shift narratives and disrupt the status quo.
